Biography of Mikhail Vasilyevich Frunze

Frunze, Mikhail Vasilyevich (02/02/1885 – 31/10/1925), was born in Pishpek (now Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan). His father was a surgeon.

Education Mikhail Frunze was in the St. Petersburg Polytechnic Institute.

In 1904, Frunze became a member of RSDLP. During the years of revolutionary struggle, Mikhail Frunze, twice sentenced to death, but then the death sentence replaced with a link.

Since 1914, Mikhail Vasilyevich was in exile in Eastern Siberia, then, in 1916, Frunze escaped, the party sent him to the Western Front, to conduct propaganda work among the soldiers.

Biography of Alexander Nevsky Yaroslavich

Alexander Nevsky Jaroslawich (1220 (1221) – 11.14.1263). His father – Prince Yaroslav Vsevolodovich grandfather – the Grand Duke of Vladimir, Vsevolod III Big Nest. In 1236, Alexander was placed in the Novgorod principality, and in 1239 married the princess of Polotsk Alexandra Bryachislavne. In July 1240, Alexander won his first victory, defeating the Swedes on the river Izhora, which flows into the Neva. Expected for this battle Alexander and earned the nickname – the Nevsky. Shortly thereafter, because of conflict with Novgorod, Alexander was forced to leave Novgorod and went to Pereslavl-Zaleski. However, after several months on the northern lands of Russia, was attacked by German knights of Livonia. Over Novgorod in mortal danger and Novgorod were forced to seek help. Alexander Nevsky managed to free a captured Pskov, then he led his army to Lake Peipsi, where the April 5, 1242 took the historic battle known as the Battle of the Ice. The German knights were utterly defeated.

Biography of Konstantin Petrovich Feoktistov

Feoktistov, Konstantin Petrovich (07/02/1926), was born in Voronezh, where he spent his childhood and where he went to high school. Studies interrupted by World War II. Sixteen-year young man could not be aloof from the struggle with enemies and Kostya went to the front, was a scout troop parts. In 1942, during the execution of one of the combat missions he was captured and shot (!!!). Fortunately, the wound was not mortal, after shots Kostya fell and lost consciousness. He was taken for dead and did not finish, but was thrown together with the executed lying in the snow. That night he woke up and crawled to the place of execution. Cured and, after the liberation of Voronezh on the occupation, continued his studies in high school.

Biography Moskalenko, Kirill Semenovich

Moskalenko, Kirill Semenovich (28.04 (11.05) .1902), Soviet commander, Marshal of the Soviet Union (1955), Hero of the Soviet Union (23.10. 1943), Hero of the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (03.10. 1969).

Member of the CPSU in 1926. In the Red Army in 1920. Member of the Civil War 1918 – 1920, Private. He graduated from the Ukrainian Union School kraskomov (1922), artillery refresher courses commanders WPRA (1928) and the Faculty of the higher command the Artillery Academy. Dzerzhinsky (1939).

During the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939 – 1940 was the chief of artillery, infantry division. In 1940 the commander of the artillery corps, the commander of an anti-brigade.

In the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945 Commander of small arms and cavalry corps, the commander of the Army's mobile force of troops and the deputy.

Kravchenko, Andrei G. (1899 – 1963). Warlord, was the commander of the tank brigade, and then the shell (in WWII), Panzer Army (1944). Twice Hero of the Soviet Union (1944, 1945). In 1944, Colonel-General armored forces.

Biography Dumenko Boris Mokeevicha

Dumenko Mokeevich Boris (1888 – 11.5.1920), the hero of the Civil War, 1918-20.

A member of the Communist Party since 1919. Born to Ukrainian poor peasant on the farm Khomutets-Cossack Don Cossack region.

Participant 1 st World War 1914-18, sergeant. In spring 1918, organized in the village Vesely guerrilla unit, then commanded a battalion in the peasant socialist shelf.
