Biography Yaroslav Golovanov Kirillovich

Golovanov, Yaroslav K. (06/02/1932) was born June 2, 1932 in Moscow. In 1956 he graduated from the rocket department of the Moscow Higher Technical School named after Bauman. Following graduation, he worked at SRI-1, which was the supervisor of MV Keldysh. Then changed the nature of its activities and became a journalist. Nearly 30 years as science columnist at the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda". For 10 years he was a special correspondent for Komsomolskaya Pravda at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in the center for space communications. In 1965 he enlisted in the Soviet cosmonaut (1965 Group astronauts journalists № 1). Trained to fly a ship type "Sunrise". After closing in 1966 the project with the flight Soviet journalist in space, cosmonaut left and continued to work at the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda". Author of more than a thousand newspaper and magazine articles and 19 books. His books have been translated into 25 languages worldwide. Member of the Writers' Union (Russia) since 1966. Winner of the Lenin Komsomol Prize (1973). He was awarded the Badge of Honor ". For the promotion of achievements in space exploration was awarded medals of Tsiolkovsky, Korolev, Keldysh, GDL-OKB, NA Pilyugin, VP Makeyev, an honorary diploma Yuri Gagarin Union of Journalists of the ultimate prize – the medal "Golden Pen".
