Repnin Nikolai (11 (22) .03.1734 – 12 (24) .05.1801), Prince, Russian military commander and diplomat, General-Field Marshal (1796),.
In 1749 promoted to corporals. He participated in the Seven Years' War 1756 – 1763.
In 1762 – 1763 Ambassador to Prussia, in 1763 – 1769 Ambassador to Poland, where he actively interfered in internal affairs and has made the conclusion of the Warsaw Pact in 1768.
During the Russian-Turkish war of 1768 – 1774 commanded a division in the battles at Largo and Cahul, participated in the conditions Kiutchouk-Kainarji 1774.
