Biography Peskov Paul Illich
Peskov Pavel Ilich (26/01/1918) – fighter pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union (1942), Major General Aviation. Participated in the Great Patriotic War in June 1941 fought in the 129 (5 dc.) PAI was flight commander. He flew 368 combat sorties, shot down 20 enemy aircraft. After the war, until 1979 he served in command positions in the Air Force.
