Biography of Alexander Vinogradov Matveyevich
Vinogradov, Alexander Matveevich (11/18/1915) – fighter pilot, Lieutenant. Member of the Great Patriotic War in October 1942. He fought in the Transcaucasus and the Voronezh Front, was flight commander 1941 ra. PAI. In September 1943 over the Left-Bank Ukraine in the La-5 fighters rammed an enemy plane. Landed by parachute. He was awarded the Red Banner. Later he fought in a Ukrainian Front. He was the deputy commander and navigator Squadron. The war was over in Prague. After the war until 1953 he served in the Air Force.
