Biography Mikulina Alexander Alexandrovich

Mikulin Alexander (02 (14) .02.1895), American designer of aircraft engines, academician of the USSR (1943), Major-General engineering services (1943), Hero of Socialist Labor (1940). A member of the CPSU from 1954. In 1923 he began working designer in automotive Science Institute (since 1925 Chap. Designer). In 1929, he drafted engine AM-34, in 1931 successfully passed the test.
