Liapidevskii Anatoly V. (10 (23) .03.1908), Soviet aircraft pilot and Hero of the Soviet Union (20/04/1934), Major General Aviation (1946).
A member of the Communist Party since 1934. In the Red Army in 1926, graduated from the Sevastopol School Marine Pilots (1928), was a pilot and instructor pilot.
In 1933 transferred to the reserve. Worked pilot of the Far Eastern Management GVF. After the death of an icebreaking ship Cheliuskin (2/13/1934) Liapidevskii participated in search and rescue Chelyuskinites and, in extremely difficult conditions, take them to Whelen.
