Biography Lelyakina Gregory G

Lelyakin Grigory (1803 – 11/14/1876) – lieutenant-general, born in 1803, died Nov. 14, 1876, was educated in the 1-meter Cadet Corps, after which in 1823 received an ensign in the Grenadier Kexholm Emperor of Austria regiment.

In 1827 and 1828. Lelyakin, consisting of the consolidated Guards, took part in the Persian campaign, and distinguished himself during the capture of Erivan.

He then participated in the Polish campaign and subsequently commanded a battalion of the Guards Izmailovo Regiment in 1848 was appointed commander of the brigade in the Eastern war, participated in the defense Sveaborg and the shores of Finland and in 1856 produced a lieutenant-general, left service.
