Davydov, Aleksandr Aleksandrovich (d. 18.12.1885) – Admiral, June 15, 1826 AA, produced in the cadets, cruised in the Gulf; in 1827 on the ship "Gangut" sailed from Kronstadt to Portsmouth, from where the ship " St. Andrew "returned to Kronstadt. March 20, 1829, produced a warrant, was appointed to the Black Sea Fleet, and in 1833 promoted to lieutenant.
In 1834 the ship "Memory Eustache" cruising in the Black Sea, and then transferred to the Baltic Fleet, 20 October 1843 Davydov was appointed a senior aide to the chief commander of the headquarters of the Astrakhan port, which in 1847 made a lieutenant commander. In 1855 he was promoted to Captain 2 rank and then the same was sent to St. Petersburg for a detailed inspection of new devices for artillery on ships and gunboats.
May 26, 1856 Davydov was appointed staff officer of Staff Chief Commander of the Astrakhan port, where on Aug. 26 to captain one of the first rank. On October 19, 1859 to 1866 Davydov gradually occupied the post of commander of the naval crew of the Caspian Flotilla, then head of the Baku-distance sea and the commander of the Baku port. In 1866, Davydov made a rear admiral. From 1 st January 1872 to April 8, 1873 consisted of the Navy Department. April 8, 1873 Davydov was appointed Director Wheelchair house of Emperor Paul I apply. January 1, 1874 promoted to vice-admiral, 18 March 1885 credited to the Fleet, and on 8 April the same year, was dismissed from service with the production of an admiral.
