Biography Chichagova Mikhail Nikolayevich

Chichagov Mikhail Nikolaevich (1837 – 10/09/1889) – architect, builder of the theater in Moscow and in many provincial cities. Born in Moscow in 1837. Since childhood, discovering great artistic ability, he was given first to school in the Reformed Church, at the end of the course which, having decided to devote himself to an architects 'work, he enrolled at the former palace in an architects' office, school. After finishing this course, his service he started in court administration, of which soon moved to the city office, where he served as architect. However, here served a short time and with a view to further improve resigned and went abroad. He visited Germany, France and Italy and everywhere trying not to miss an occasion to enhance their artistic education. Back in Moscow, he engaged in private work, accounting for projects of public buildings and theaters. Thus, in Moscow, it was built Bakhrushin hospital, theater Korsch, reworked for the theater building and house Liakozova Ginsburg (for Pushkin Theatre). MN Chichagov died suddenly in Moscow from a hemorrhage in the cranial cavity, the 9 th October 1889 at 1954 from birth. His body was buried in the cemetery Vagankovsky.
