Biography Chekalina Alexander Pavlovich

Chekalin Aleksandr Pavlovich (03/25/1925 – 11/06/1941), born with. Peskovatskoe now Suvorov district of the Tula region., Died in Lihvin now Chekalin, party of the partisan movement during the Great Patriotic War 1941 – 1945, Hero of the Soviet (4. 2. 1942, posthumously).

Member of the Komsomol in 1939. In 1938 he studied at a secondary school in Lihvina.

In July 1941 came as a volunteer in a fighter unit, then in a partisan detachment "Forward", was a scout.

Denounced by a traitor seized by the Nazi and after severe torture hanged.
