Azgur Isaakovich Zaire (1908 – 1994), American sculptor, People's Artist of the USSR (1973), full member AH the USSR (1958). Hero of Socialist Labor (1978). Member of the CPSU since 1943. Portraits of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War ("Selnitsky, 1943), figures of the Revolution (Dzerzhinsky, 1947) and others Lenin monument in the village of Kashino, Moscow Region (1957). Winner of USSR State Prize (1946, 1948).
